WSB Mental Health Resources

The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) has a multitude of services available to students–mental health to academic, professional development services, and community bonding. These resources are meant to help students with anything from adjusting to the college environment and providing support for students' academics and personal life. The resources listed below are located within the School of Business, where students can visit at any time. Some services also offer drop-in and scheduled appointments for students–details regarding advisors, and service hours can be found on Starfish.

WSB Mental Health Resources

The Wisconsin School of Business prioritizes students’ health and wellbeing throughout their academic career, and offers a variety of services and appointments to engage with students. Students can participate in group counseling services, one-on-one appointments with a medical professional, etc. If needed, students can also utilize the 24/7 crisis hotline: 608-265-5600 (option 9). 

Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center is a dynamic space within the Wisconsin School of Business that promotes diversity and inclusion. It provides resources and hosts events to foster understanding and create an inclusive environment where students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds can thrive. Additionally, the center houses various affinity groups that facilitate connections among students who have shared experiences. Students can visit the Multicultural Center in Grainger (rm 2250).

Career Engagement Studio

The Career Engagement Studio provides a variety of services that help students achieve their career goals. Students can learn how to network with professionals, participate in mock interviews, have their résumé/cover letter reviewed by career coaches. The studio also hosts drop-in hours where students can come in at any time in Grainger (rm 3290) or students can have individual coaching sessions with a career coach via Starfish. 

WSB Academic Advising

Academic advising services are to help students navigate their academic career at the university. Advisors can help students schedule classes, discuss potential majors, keep students on track for their personal and academic goals, etc. Appointments can be made via Starfish on students’ MyUW homepage, or students can drop-in for academic advising in Grainger (rm 3150).
